About Dr Greg Spark

Dr Spark has been consulting since in 1988 in East Ryde. After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1980, he was a resident doctor at Concord Hospital until a move to Northern NSW, where he worked at Lismore Base Hospital, here he gained a broad clinical experience.

In 1983, he began his General Practice Training, back in Sydney at various locations. After traveling for a year he resumed hospital work in the United Kingdom, where he trained in obstetrics & gynaecology at a hospital in Sunderland. In 1984, Dr Spark returned to Australia & was Evans Head country GP until 1987. In 1988, Dr Greg Spark settled in East Ryde, succeeding Dr Mark Goyen as the local GP. (Previous to Dr Goyen, was Dr Stuart Fox). He has remained in the area since treating generations of local families.

Over the years he has gradually expanded the practice to meet the local growth of the area. He enjoys all aspects of general practice & family medicine, with a particular interest in preventive health, chronic disease management & health education. Greg supervises Medical Students for Local and Regional Universities, preparing the next generation of GPs.

Greg enjoys a busy life with his wife. He has three children, plus one step daughter. He loves a good golf game and energetic weekend Squash session, music and travel.

Dr Spark is only seeing his regular patients that have attended in the last 12 months. These patients   can book by phoning (02) 98881083.
