Dr Sanjev Krishnamohan

Dr Sanjev completed his postgraduate degree in Medicine with First Class Honours at The University of Sydney (Royal Prince Alfred hospital clinical school). Prior to this, he completed a Bachelor of Engineering as senior scholar in Auckland, New Zealand before his passion for serving local communities led to him pursue life as a doctor. He did his schooling at Auckland Grammar school (known there affectionately as “Grammar”).

Dr Sanjev was a junior doctor at Concord and Canterbury hospitals. He did 6 months of Paediatrics training at Canterbury hospital where he aided in the management of Paediatric ED presentations, the kids ward and neonatology.

He then pursued a specialty in General Practice and obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of GPs (FRACGP). He has worked in General Practices across Sydney, including in Sutherland where he did 3 years and more recently 5 years at St Ives.

Dr Sanjev has a special interest in

• Cardiovascular health (he has published peer reviewed research in heart disease and takes a keen interest in screening and prevention of all chronic disease)

• Diabetes (screening and optimisation of HbA1c),

• Healthy Weight management and Weight loss

• Paediatrics

• Skin cancer checks

• Musculoskeletal and sports medicine

• Men’s health

• Geriatrics (while at St Ives he managed elderly patients at Fernbank village and while at the Shire he managed patients at the Nagle Aged Care)​

Dr Sanjev and his wife have 3 young children. He is a keen jogger and enjoys trail runs at Lane Cove national park. He regularly enjoys a tennis hit and coaches his son’s junior football team.
