Information below about women’s health and the range of topics that may be discussed  with a GP.

This information is general in nature and may change over time. For advice tailored to your individual health needs, please consult your GP.

Understanding Women's Health

Women’s health needs can change over time, from adolescence through to menopause and beyond.

Regular check-ups and early discussions with a GP can support:

  • Preventive care and screening

  • Reproductive health planning

  • Early identification of health concerns

  • Ongoing management of symptoms

Key Point: If you have any concerns about your health, it is appropriate to discuss these with a GP, even if you are unsure whether they are significant.
