What is happening?

East Ryde Doctors invites you to participate in our inaugural CPR Education Day. Learn life-saving CPR skills from General Practitioners in a hands-on, friendly environment.

  • Hands-on CPR information for all ages (adults, teens, and supervised children).

  • Small group sessions to ensure personalised attention.

  • Opportunity to ask real-life scenario questions

This is an education / information event only. 

Should you require a certified CPR or First Aid course please do your own research to ensure you meet the required standard for your individual circumstances.

When?

  • Date: Saturday 18th October 2025

  • Time

    • 11am Registration out the front of East Ryde Doctors

    • 11.15am CPR Information on the lawn,

    • 12.30pm Community Celebration:

      • Sager Shops open for trade

      • Live Music

      • Sager Place Passport

    • 1.30pm Wrap Up

  • Location: Sager Place, East Ryde

Wet Weather plan: This is a community-friendly event, rain or shine. If La Nina brings wet weather and the grassy lawn is unable to be used, the education component will take place under cover so everyone stays safe and comfortable.

Sager Place Passport: 

On the day you, you'll receive your very own Sager Place Passport! 

Visit participating businesses along Sager Place to collect a stamp at each stop.

 

Once you've collect all the stamps, simply place your completed passport with your details into the entry box for a chance to win a prize!

  • Hands-on CPR practice with mannequins

  • Tips for emergency situations at home, school, or work

  • Interactive Q&A with health professionals

  • Once the education wraps up, please see what Sager Place has to offer, by visiting each of the businesses.

What to bring?

  • Comfortable clothing for practicing CPR

  • Water bottle

  • A Notepad/pen if you'd like to take notes

  • Children’s items if attending with kids

  • Positive attitude and curiosity!

  • By attending, you accept full responsibility for your own health, wellbeing, and safety.

  • Please maintain hygiene and safety practices, including hand hygiene and respect for shared equipment.

4. Event Operations

  • East Ryde Doctors’ medical practice will not be open during the event.

  • No clinical consultations or patient appointments will be available at this time.

5. Media, Photography & Social Media

  • Photos and/or videos may be taken during the event for community and promotional purposes (including social media).

  • By attending, you consent to the possible use of your image unless you specifically notify event staff otherwise.

6. Arrival & Conduct

  • Please arrive at the allocated registration time to ensure smooth flow of activities.

  • Attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, volunteers, and other participants.

  • East Ryde Doctors reserves the right to remove anyone acting in an unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful manner.

7. Acknowledgement

By attending this event, you:

  • Understand that this is a friendly, educational community session only.

  • Accept that East Ryde Doctors and its associates have no liability for injuries, health issues, or damages arising from participation.
